It's really outdated. A tanky build on Lee Sin isn't normal, and no one does it.

Thanks for all the feedback guys! I realize that my rune choices are rather unusual for the energy regeneration part, especially since Lee Sin is one of THE most conservative energy users due to his passive Flurry, but understand this that there are those moments where you really need to use a spell and sometimes people just don't manage their energy well enough to use it. The extra 5 armor runes(approximating to 7.05 armor) in replacement of the energy runes will be extremely insignificant later-on into the game, whilst the energy runes never fall off, but of course that's just my opinion. I understand @zwolf about the Frozen Mallet and Youmuu's being bad item choices, I completely do I guarantee that much; however, realize that a level 5 cripple(60% slow) + Frozen Mallet(40% slow) + diminishing effects will leave your opponents with a devastating debuff on their hands, being literally unable to position themselves in any way possible. I also see about your point with getting Last Whisper and how armor penetration works and how it's counter productive if they don't have an X amount of armor, I see where you're going with that, but understand that my point with my build is to eliminate any champion as fast as possible with least amount of survivability. Point being, I want them dead and I want them dead as fast as possible since every second counts in a team fight. Them surviving with 50 HP can cost me the game. Youmuu's is just something I've found to love myself, it isn't for everyone and in theory it's a horrible item on Lee Sin but let scores talk for themselves, I have had friends use this build, with the Youmuu's, with the Last Whisper + Brutalizer, over and over again and maintain the same fantastic results. I'll be posting a scores section soon to back up my argument; scores being both Ranked and Normal.

As others have said, your runes are kind of a weird pick. Lee is the one energy user that has the easiest way to restore his energy, so there's no reason to take energy regen seals. Your runes are also kinda mixed up for jungling and laning. Jungling is when you are supposed to take armor pen to increase jungling speed, because there are some creeps like the wraiths that have 30 armor or so. Laning is the opposite. Having an early game leads to a better late game. More AD means better last hits and better early game 1v1s at top lane.

You might want to review how armor penetration works. Getting both flat armor pen (ghostblade) and % penetration (last whisper) is counter productive because of the order than these are applied. And armor pen should never be in a core build, it's a situational thing. You should only build a Last Whisper when about 3 people on the other team have more than 100 armor, and honestly, should never build Ghostblade on Lee. He has gap slowers and dashes and slows that the movespeed is null, his passive gives attack speed, etc, etc... bad idea. So is Frozen Mallet. You already have Tempest/Cripple.

+1 good guide!

Heres some tips!

For your rune choices, I do not recommend getting cooldown reduction glyphs. They are just bad, and lee sin does not need lower cooldowns. Anyways, early game you will be able to take blue buff if you really want it.

In your jungling build, take magic resist glyphs. Also, in your first build, do not take energy seals. Take resilience, because you will probably be laning against an AD champion.

You should be buying your boots earlier in your builds. For your jungling build, boots are essential to good ganks, and you should be buying them before brutalizer.

Why do you buy last whisperer so early? The enemy will not have bought enough armor for it to be useful? Which leads me to my next suggestion. buy frozen mallet instead, frozen mallet is so strong mid game because of its passive slow, and late game its power really fades.

If you are planning on buying yoomu's, maybe try to fit in an avarice blade earlier in your build? That way it will be very cost efficient.

Other then that, good job! And Good luck!
