Ty for comment so I can remember to update this. Imperial mandate got nerfed to many times I currently run everfrost after the buffs or shurelyas if I fall behind

in the abilities section it says frostbite instead of flash frost

Do you have difficulty playing against engage supports like Pyke, Nautilus, Leona etc as supp Anivia? I get poke supports are supposed to do well against them but Anivia's cooldowns are so long, don't hit as reliably as vel'koz, zyra etc. and she's a sitting duck against their all ins without q so I find myself holding q and trying to freeze a lot pre 6.

Should I be loosening up a bit or is playing more passively the way to go in this matchup?

Leona is a counter lane. Pyke and naut are skill matchup. Naut you can wall his hook if you get good reaction time and pyke you can cancel his hook if you place a wall under him. For sure they are stressful but I would say they are skill matchups and not counter. Also take exhaust if they all in on you then exhaust adc and you should win cuz of egg form. Unless adc forgets about your egg an tunels the support instead of enemy adc
