Thank you for you feed back. Good points on the 9/21/0 because it does turn out that when I use my W then my E seems to do a lot more. The extra defense would help a lot. And I usually don't get buffs on Katarina I just picked it up off one of my friends. I usually don't go with flash because I 1v1 a lot. But I realize that having flash in late game scenes would most likely help a lot. I will try some of the things you have said and see if it fits my playing style. Once again, thanks for the feed back, you made me look at Kat's abilities a different way. I don't play her much either anymore due to the new CC they have added.

I will not rate this guide for many reasons, but just know if i did rate it, i would probably rate -1.

First, im pretty sure having masteries 9/0/21 is a PURE waste on Katarina. Most of things in Utility are not that good. +30% for neutral monsters buffs ? Is it a joke ? Give your blue for your AP mid and your red to your AD carry. If Kat has any buffs on her thats mean she just killed someone who had that buff before.
Then, "Perseverance"... i guess you forgot but... Kat doesnt have any Mana... and so for the few bonus Health... its kinda useless.
Try 9/21/0, it will better : more survivability during early game => You dont look like a noob Kat dying all the time.

You say after, you dont have in your build any items with Magic Pene... How about your boots ? Isnt it +20 Magic Pene ? 20 MP is good, you cant say its not usefull.

Ghost + Ignite ? I dont think Ghost is a good idea. Why ? IF, as you say after each ultimate you do you kill at least 2 people... Thats mean your Shunpo is more than ready... why not Shunpo on one of your ally (AD carry or support on the back on the team fight) if yourlife is too low ?
I'd rather use Flash + Ignite. You can use flash as a combo : Flash + Shunpo + Death Lotus + Bouncing Blade => You kill someone from a very good distance then... you shunpo again to go back... a combo like Annie... deadly.

Last thing... about The Hex. In my humble opinion,this item is pure waste on Kat. No need to upgrate it. Just buy the first gun (+40 AP and life steal). And buy it just after your boots. Even better : play with Speed quintescences and buy the gun right after you get the normal boots. It gives you good AP and you dont have to recall all the time or buy potions. Use Bouncing Blades and Shunpo to regen your life on minions. Keep the gun like this.. And IF you have to upgrate it...dont do it as a Hex... better upgrate it as a WotA... double WotA with another AP = HUGE life Steal.

I used to play Kat often, i love her... but quite a pain in the *** now with the 2 news champs : Talon and Riven. Silence and Stun... Ugh....


Last word... I dont know how long it took to make this guide but im pretty sure it took as long as it took to me to make this post... maybe less.
