I have left a BIG MESSAGE, but overall, this guide is useful and informative. Although I do not agree with buying order, I also find that it can hard to suggest a relevant buying order when every game is different and what you build first can often be situational.

Good guide, helpful!

Just a quick question. I am not new to playing Ez, but I am new to 30, and still have a LONG way to go before I will be a really good Ez player. My question is this:

During games, some people moan about my positioning, although I do not think that I am doing anything wrong. I don't know if it is just people raging because they aren't doing well, or whether I am genuinely doing something wrong. I always position myself behind creeps to prevent grabs, etc, and I try my best to avoid CC.
Is there anything specific you could say to me about positioning that could help my game?

Btw, great guide, I found it useful as someone who has already read a fair few guides. As far as guides that I have seen go, the layout is good and not too cluttered with pointless animations. It might be worth adding in a video or something to demonstrate what you are talking about though!

Just a thought!

Thanks again!

I never like seeing Ezreals build this. You sacrifice so much punch by going this route and basically play the very late game in hopes that you haven't been completely stomped. It'll only be a little bit more of time before people realize that you don't do damage until late game.

Everytime I see an Ezreal build this I have no problem going hard on them and pushing them out of lane or ignoring them in teamfights because they are not a threat. Have not lost vs an opp ezreal who built this.

Not really a reason to downvote just cause the build dosen't fit you xD.

Most of the guide is fairly solid. The match ups are well described and will be helpful to players unfamiliar with Ezreal's lane phase vs other AD carries. Unfortunately, the build's notes and purchase order would put a new player at a disadvantage. The purchase order is extremely important.

Starting with the long sword and pots allows Ezreal to get the Spirit of the elder lizard for 1600 gold, which means that while the opponent might buy the BF sword, Ezreals damage stays caught up but he also has burn and Cooldown reduction. I'll be writing a guide describing all of this myself, but getting the Iceborn Gauntlet first just isn't a good idea, and Manamoon needs to be purchased as soon as possible so that muramana completes before the game progresses too much.

Furthermore, your advice for masteries doesn't make sense with this build. You have no critical strike chance but you've left critical masteries in your build. They make sense for the normal AD build, but not for the blue build. Put these two builds into separate guides or subsections with their own masteries and runes.

Good luck with your revisions!

I play this build myself a lot and it's really good. But i have to say there's a big mistake in your masteries. In both suggestions you take Lethality and Frenzy which are completely useless since you have no crit at all. In my tree I go 21/9/0 with points in Blast and Arcane Knowledge and fot the last point you can choose whatever you want e.g. Summoner's Wrath, Destruction, Spellsword,...
