I'm happy to hear your positive reaction to what's here so far. Hopefully some additions I'm planning for the 'basics' section will provide good insight to the role(s) she should be playing on the battlefield, but yes I agree she is definitely capable of dishing out moderate damage, if not quite as much as many other casters.

About the sight ward - With clarity, a level 1 purchase of Meki Pendant and her passive spell vamp Morgana excels incredibly at 'endless laning,' never having trouble with mana or maintaining health. This makes health and mana pots obsolete, and it also makes Doran's Ring a bad choice because she doesn't need the extras to attain her survivability and it doesn't build into anything. With only the Meki Pendant we're looking at staying in lane without any diversion through and well beyond level 6. The only real danger to Morgana in lane, aside from a handful of good counters, is ganks. So, I buy a sight ward along with the meki pendant at level 1. When and where to use it is going to depend on the circumstances during the match, and many variables come into play.

I will touch on these variables and put all of this information into the finished guide and I'll be glad to let you know when it's complete.

Im happy to see you added "Incomplete" at the time i voted last all you had up was a short intro. Also if you just save your guide you can return to it later without publishing an unfinished guide. Unless that is what you meant to do.

Anyways i think your runes, masteries, and spell guide are pretty solid tried this build for the first time and Morgana for the first time as well and although she isnt the AP cannon most casters are she does some solid damage.

Also im still confused about the sight ward, unless its a situational thing that you only get when faced with stealth champions or the ever annoying Teemo.
