changing it up is never a bad thing. But I find unless your other team your battling is very even with you, you are either won or lost before you get to your last buy. with that I mind, I capitalize on mana; to stay in lane, and ability power. If you decide to jungle go with terrify before dark wind.
with this build you can get mana by using abilities and stay there longer, the mp 5 runes can stay or go for ability ones if your finding you keep your mana up.
