Kata can fit on many teamcomps thanks to recent changes you dont have to worry if your team has a lot of ap, because you can build ad on-hit build. When playing as Katarina its good to have engager like Malphite for example, then you can set up for cleaning all enemies. Playing Katarina will make you feel like a g0d, dashing everywhere and leaving daggers to come back like it's all planned.

CONS - Squishy - Easily tamed by CC - Melee carry - You have to put some effort to master her - Doesn't do well on lane vs hard counter matchups - Item dependent
