Well, the AP runes work for me and I win the majority of the games I play her, as well as I just started ranked and with her I am 10/2 in solo queue. Not saying that this build is for everyone, just simply sharing what works for me. Thanks for the feedback Panther84, so far you are the only one who keeps a positive attitude with my experience in posting a guide thus far and it does make me want to improve it.

You don't go around with AP runes on a support build. That just sucks.
BTW since Lagger commented with some info, it means you have hope.

No. This is not the way to play Sona. A usual support build on AP runes means you will be very weak late game.

Not trying to discount what you have said, because I do believe that that kind of stuff does make a guide LOOK more appealing. However, I will admit my intentions weren't to win a beauty pageant, just to offer my advice on the character and how I play and what works best for me. Isn't that the point of these things anyway? Anyway, thanks for the comments and the views, I really am grateful and I do appreciate feedback. If I have more time later, I will make it more visually appealing so that people who look at guides this way may be more inclined to try out my build.
