Ok well this says MR/AP build and I was disappointed when I saw no items with AP on them. I know that he gets AP from MR but this is not anywhere near enough AP to actually say this is an MR/AP build. Its pure tanky.

Galio is all about countering Casters, so your items gets that part cleared out.
But imo it would be better to get Banshee's Veil before Force of Naturesince the spell block may be whats saves you from getting stuned while using your ultimate, and swap Spirit Vissage with a Thornmail(if against alot of AD~champs that is).

About your runes, even though the magicres buff may seem nice, it will make you lack an awfull lot on HP early and lategame.
Quin = flat hp
Seal = Hp per level
Glyph = MagicRes per LVL
Mark = MagicPen

Masteries I'd go 9/21/0 with no points in dodge.

Summ spells id' drop Clarity, even though he uses alot of mana chalice + Golem will defiantly cover that.

This build would make a great mage build, but galio is a better tank than a nuke, since if you go a mage build, youre gonna die before your ultimate goes off. Probably be best to just stack firecapes on him like all the rest, or maybe try an amumu build on him with a FoN and merc treads for a little more oomph. If you seriously go this item build up top, youre not going to have any health and from the games i played your terribly squishy for a tank.

You also forgot to post what skill you should level up at level 5. Just a note.

Yeah dodge ruins your Ulimate. But aside from that it's a beastly *** build. Very good partner for a nuke char (Kayle :))

Thanks for pointing that out and I'm getting around to the guide, going to fill it in in segments as I get more experience with Galio.

Dodge runes are a fail. You nerf your own ultimate. Btw, won't you add a description? People will want to know how you advise to play Galio, if you have played him at all.
