This is more of a novelty build however
I use a different build just now which I may also put up as it gives my Akali over 3k HP whilst not losing an awful lot of AP because of it
Edit: Also it appears the Gunblade info is out of date
This build should give 565.5 AP instead of just over 400
I dont think they would. I mean unless the OP timed them all right. But with her being able to spam her skills, there is no point in have FM.

How I didn't notice that...
This isn't the build I usually use but it is a very funny build to use because 3 Gunblades puts Akali's stats through the roof
The thing about giving her great stats is that the Gunblade is expesive to build, yes?
Now I do like Adonikam's idea of adding a Frozen Mallet. That will get great for her. She gets life, dmg, and the slow. Thats what you are looking for right?

Even if just for the fact that the triple Gunblade is funny
Also note that if its a largely physical team that the Ninja Tabi are a nice option
