I'm not really familiar with the creator's point of view on this but I'd say there are quite a few reasons to go for Summon Aery. Overall Summon Aery is a third most picked keystone rune on Heimerdinger and playing it shows positive winrates. You also have to consider the fact that this guide is focused on bot lane Heimerdinger where the whole gameplay and strategy is totally different from the one on mid lane and thus you need to adjust your playstyle to new standards. Summon Aery is really good at delivering constant poke via turrets. It is also a lot easier to hit then Arcane Comet because Heimerdinger lacks CC in his basic abilities during the early game. Here the fact that the creator is a Diamond player comes in place. In diamond league, players are much more skilled in dodging Arcane Comet projectiles and thus lowering it's efficiency. That said there also is Electrocute rune - the 2nd most popular keystone rune on Heimerdinger. That rune might be good on mid lane but on bot lane there are much more ways to prevent that rune from working properly. First of all supports with shields can easily deny whole Electrocute proc with stuff like Inspire. Also on bot lane, general attack range of your enemies is USUALLY higher then on mid lane, meaning that procing Electrocute only with turrets is basically impossible and you have to combine it with other abilities.

For not selecting Ravenous Hunter there is a playstyle difference going on. While you would probably pick Ravenous Hunter with some offensive Domination rune to deal more damage and heal for more as well, the creator has chosen defence instead because his playstyle is different then yours. Other people might even pick something like Second Wind + Demolish because again, their playstyle is entirely different from yours. That doesn't mean that the guide has to be bad, it is just focused at different aspects of the game and different points of view. It is important to cover as many of them as you can in your brain so you could adapt your playstyle according to a game instead of binding to a single one.

Hopefully I clarified the guide writer's decisions. Keep in mind that every player plays differently and thus you shouldn't put down work of others just because their playstyle isn't similar to yours. You can clearly see that that guy reached diamond rank, which is impressive If you ask me, and thus this build worked for him super well and for many other players too.

Sorry for late reply. just make sure you don't put the turrets too close to each other. Make sure the enemy adc or support can t hit both turrets with skills and kill them. Try not to use all 3 turrets, use 2 to clear minions and keep 1 for ganks.

He is better when your team is all AD. Also, most adcs are great late game, but Heimer is great early game. You can use this as your advantage to snowball the game early.

Yeah, Klepto if used right can be deadly. I personally am enjoying future's debt market for faster scale. Even if you lose lane or die a few times, as soon as heim has 3 cores (zhonyas, rylais, luden's), heim can 1v9 .. :D

arrange your turrets in a triangle that "points" back to your tower for most situations. spacing should provide a nice sized zone for your heimer to ding the ****ers in.....but there will be times you want them a tad closer together to protect an objective or steal one from the other side.....or to maximize the effect of your lazer blasts after dropping your zappy-do-dad-naders on top of someone's head. the highly situational nature of the placement is something you need to feel out and can't exact be easily written out in a guide. one could devote an entire guide just to turret placement.....and it would still be one of the longest guides on mobafire.

In bot lane, alot of the times fights get very scrappy. You do end up auto-ing alot, and arcane comet doesn't proc off autos while aery does. Also, arcane comet is dodge-able, while aery is not. (Even top/mid heimers nowadays go with aery over comet)
