Not Updated For Current Season
The masteries shown here are not yet updated for the current season, the guide author needs to set up the new masteries. As such, they will be different than the masteries you see in-game.
Now as for background information what HybridWick actually is.. It's kind of an mixture between MageWick and the more typical Warwick.. But the real question is "why"?
Well in short, MageWick has really outrageous self healing ability, while the typical Warwick has very good destructive power.. So I got this crazy idea, why not to put them both together and create something even better.. And so the HybridWick was born.
Basically it is a typical jungler Warwick, who ganks alot.. But it has an extra ordinary healing capability compared to your average Warwick.. Which really helps suprisingly lot, not to mention that your Hungering Strike is actually very good killing tool aswell.
As for the runes.. I'm sure that more pure offensive caster runes could also work for this build, but I personally like the early game survivability more, since you really need it while ganking in early game. Which Warwick should always be doing anyways, if you get a chance for it.
As for the starting items, I usually take first Cloth Armor, 3 health potions and 1 Mana potion.. Then I'll try to rush Bloodrazor as fast as possible, and only usually buying the Boots of Speed, but not making them Sorc Boots yet before Bloodrazor is ready, since once you get Bloodrazor you'll tear enemies apart especially in early game. And usually I can finish Bloodrazor in 14-17 minutes, depending how well things go.
After finishing Bloodrazor, I'll start focusing on more of the actualy Hybrid part and always building the caster part first, to improve my Hungering Strike even more and thus giving me more survivability and also making it more deadly. As for Trinity Force, I'd go for sheen first because it works great with the Hungering + Ulti combo making the Ulti deal even more damage then either pick the mace if you want more survivability, or Zeal if you are totally tearing the enemies to pieces and want to move faster for more ganking possibilities. :P
In late game, if things went well.. All 3 combined together, your Attack Damage, Hungering Strike and Ulti form an extremely scary combination forming the so called "Trinity force of true hybrid awesomeness".
Skill build order you should always finish Hungering Strike first, no matter what.. And Blood Scent second since it helps you gank lot more. Hunter's call is already great with just one point spent on it at level 2 (for faster jungling) but it's not really that useful until the very late game when also your attack damage will be decently high thanks to the attack damage part of the hybrid build. :P
Also you can tank Baron very early in the game, easily with full hp left in end around levels 14-15. And solo it very easily bit later, even easier than the typical Warwick does. It might take slightly longer, but it's more safe thanks to higher healing from Hungering.
