So my opinion is that the build is not that bad but the item are two expensiv so think in mid game you will be weak because you wont have money for the most of your items :).Make some changes to the items everything other is OK.
Well you dont need to wait until you can buy the complete item ;)
The tome, for example, is very cheap and the wand isn't very expensive too. So, in my opinion it works very fine. Just the hat is a little bit hard to get but it just takes a little bit of time in mid game, you are right. Maybe i will change something is this direction. The hat is one of the most important items and Kennen needs to get it asap. :P
