i have just changed the rune build after trying out a different build using magic pen and glyphs of force and i would just like to thank BattlePrune for the help! please continue to help so i can improve the guide!

I go all ap and magic resist runes for early game domination at mid lane, this allows you to poke without a lot of fear of being hurst especially since your Q gives you a nice shield, *note* i have just changed the runes for more glyphs of force and magic pen; however, i left quints the same so you still have a lot of ap for early domination

I go for the typical ap caster masteries 21/0/9 for max ap throughout game since Viktors mana is pretty solid.

this build is made for you to have alot of ap early for mid domination, note that his passive should be upgraded to make his death ray better and should be upgraded between your shoes and deathcap, the last item is situational based on how your team is doing and what the enemy team looks like;however, my personal favorite is the void staff.
*NOTE* i have just changed the items based on your guys comments, this allows for more ap and more nuke damage; however, less life since i have gotten rid of the rod of ages.

This is your passive, it allows you to increase one skill to make it more powerful; however, it also takes up and item slot, we will uprgade this to improve deathray
This is your Q and your one of your main bursts, this spell is handy in many situations because it not only does a good deal of damage but gives you a shield to boot! we will max this first
This is your W and it is helpful in many different situations, from stoping ganks to stopping fleeing foes there is nothing this skill can't do, check the chapter on it for more info.
This is your E and your other main burst, it has a lot of uses and is a good mana efficient poke if used right *NOTE* THIS IS NOT A SPAMMABLE ABILITY YOU WILL HAVE MANA PROBLEMS IF YOU TRY TO SPAM IT, this is also the ability we will upgrade with your passiveThis is your R and your "**** everyone up" button, this is one of the best ults in game because it has a nice burst and silence when it first appears then does awesome AOE damage to everyone thats near it, AND BEST OF ALL YOU CAN CONTROL IT! moving it around the battlefield to stop those carry's in there tracks

your typical sequence in a team fight will be place W behind or on them (depending on situation) thenQ Then E trying to hit as many as possible for max damage. *NOTE* you have to work on knowing how to use your ult, try and watch for a caster to start channeling a devastating ability, like death lotus, infinite duress, ect...

I go for Flash and Ignite for escaping ganks and picking up kills throughout the game
NOTE Flash cannot go though everything

OTHER VIABLE SPELLS
*teleport
This is another spell that you could take; however, if played right you wont have to go back a lot as Viktor
*ghost
Another great spell for escapes; however, i just believe that flash is better. Furthermore, if you really want the extra speed boost you can always use your passive to upgrade your Q

early game you should not be afraid to poke with your E and your Q be sure if they get to close that you always open with Q to get minimal damage inflicted on you. Furthermore, if you are getting ganked, always put your W under you or under where you are moving to make sure those pesky gankers are stopped in there tracks.

mid game you should be going around the map ganking as necessary, but make sure that your lane is safe while you are gone, by now you should be able to kill almost anyone with you W>Q>E>R combo as long as you have had a good start.

Late game you can do massive amounts of AOE damage with your R and E, but you have to know when to use these, don't forget that you R also has a silence on it, and if used well can interupt a devastating death lotus

i made a whole section on this to emphasize just how useful this skill is, and how it can be used. I have already told you that you should use it to make escapes and stun melees that try to gank you. but also a well placed W can seperate teams in team fights making it easier for your team to pick up kills on those squishy's.

Viktor is a team player that also has great 1v1 potential; however, it is also important to note that YOU ARE NOT THE CARRY and you should not try and steal his kills with ignite or deathray. and if used correctely can lead any team to VIKTORY
