Wow this is fail, getting boots of speed first WILL make you mana starved... Rageblade is also a MUST if your going hybrid... and how does PHAGE help farming, (malady does but it cost quite alot)

everyone takes the rageblade in such high regard. I can agree with that, but only in certain situations. Im guessing most of you build hybrids for jax. In this case the Hextech Gunblade and Rageblade are a must. However, I like to build Jax with more attack damage. The Malady is a little questionable, but I also use the Trinity force.

Trinity force- expensive item, however each component has a synergy with jax, and each component is inexpensive for a nice early game building. In the end the Guinsoo's Rageblade gives 32% AS max. The Trinity force gives 30% flatrate(so it covers for the rageblade). Also it gives 30 ap and ad(similar to rageblade), as well as a whole slew of things with (once again) have a synergy with jax(including movement speed and slow on attack, health, mana, and health from attack and ap).

The physical damage alone narrows Jax out a bit, but it increases his effectivness against towers. Thats the idea here with only AD. You just have to be careful against high armor enemies. Once again though, I question the Malady.

When I read the first comment, I thought like "Wow, what a douche". Then I read your guide and... sorry but I agree with him. Rageblade is one of the best items you can get on Jax, as it increases Ability power, attack speed and gives you attack damage. Both AD and AP gives Jax health, which means he will actually gain health while stacking AP with Rageblade. Sorry mate.
