Yeah thats true , but choosing the abilities are your own choice, and yes sheen in the begin is better but you also need a lot of attack speed to increase your passive at lvl 6

Early Hextech Revolver seems to work great for laning.

I do suggest you skill up Empower quicker then Leap Strike, and that you get Sheen before Guinsoo's Rageblade.

Malady, Abyssal Scepter and your runes make you deal a ****-ton of magic damage.
+1 for me.
