Runes

I take MP and AP to maximize Lay Waste. My only addition is that you can replace AP Quints for new spell vamp quints.

Masteries

I go AP in offense and put some into MR because your mid (those 2 points can be worked around).

Items

The items build may seem odd but i assure you it works wonderfully. You want to get Tear of the Goddess to maximized its passive and after boots to get the Hextech for spell vamp that will make your E regenerate so much HP!

Skill Sequence

Max Q level 9, E next then W upgrade 1 by 1 until level 3

Creeping / Jungling

If using Spell Vamp runes, pick up Smite for Teleport and get a good leash. Also, when you're laning ask your jungler for the second blue and beyond so you can spam your E and always be full HP and mana.
