may be you should build a combo for him. I've tried your build and my kassadin was kinda suck. Though i won with K/D/A = 9/5/11. It's because my team did well and i just stole the kill from them.
I know my kass was suck because of me so i hope you should give me a complete combo which i could see that kass is a worthy champ to play.

BTW, your runes section. Glyph of Scaling Magic Resist should be Greater Glyph of Magic Resist.
