muy buena build, me he partio la caja con tus descripciones, sobretodo con eso del francés que te hizo perder la partida. suele pasar, son mas mancos los pobres... xD
de todas formas, yo para kat en maestrias le pongo 9/21/0 para el bufo de 4% de AP y para aguantar mas sopapos en 1v1.

+1 to Bublacok. Zhonya hourglass is very important for Katarina man.
Mejai is not a item for noobs. Are u noob? then no choose Mejai. But a pro Katarine with Mejai is god.

I'll tell you why it's a good choice
First off all you've got low hp pool so if you are in late game and u want to use your ult and gtfo, they will target you and use their abilitys, with the hourglass you can turn it on and let them waste their abilitys and use your ult then gtfo.
I've done this many times and got away with 2 kills because of the squishys useing their ults aka kennen and lux
