I start out buying a life steal, then the philosophers ring, followed by the chalice. from their i build the hextech gun blade and then i try to get the other two built but usually we have the game finished by then. for those of you looking to use nasus for kills, thats not usually how I get it to work. I can usually get a game with like 5 kills 1 death and 10 assists. use the spirit fire at first then work on your q attack followed by the w attack. once your get all your attaccks is when you will be able to do real damage. one v one i usually pull off the win. get a good ranged partner like morgana or casieopea, for support. make sure when dealing with a champion you put the spirit fire behind the champion incase they run away.
