nice guide, i prefer to get a guardian angel on him, gives a little more mr, and a thornmail isnt always the right choice. the one thing is that i see you replace your elissa's for another item, but then do not have merc treads, therefore no tenacity, i also dont realy agrree with the reducede time spent dead mastery, athough it kinda is your job to take damge, you should be trying to escape before death, (ga helps with this), just thoughts. +1 though, check out my guide plz:)

This guide is great. I really like getting 2 philosopher stones at the beginning. It sounds bad, but it allows you to recover from anything. It also allows for more spamming since you don't have a whole lot of mana regen. I'm glad you didn't get Clarity. I feel like exhaust will do so much more especially with Philosopher stone

Tried a few games and this build felt awesome. Tho I play him with 1 flat hp quint and 2 speed quints, he feels really slow.

Thanks for the positive feedback guys! I've just added in the new Tenacity item icons into the guide and build, they weren't there before :P. Also added a section for QSS, thanks for reminding me of that item!

This build doesn't take away any of Malphite's tanking capabilities, it simply adds a boatload of damage so that you become a real threat. Early/Mid game you can easily rack up kills just because your enemies won't expect you to be able to put out as much damage as you do.

Love the idea on capitalising on Malphite's AP skills. I've always wanted to, but generally you go Malphite to be the tank for the team, so I can see some teammates screaming, "NOOB MALPHITE NOT BUILD TANK KS!"

But yeah, will definitely try this out. Well-written guide, nice and simple. They just added in the new Tenacity items, so I believe you should be able to put that in your build now (maybe mention when you should upgrade from philosopher's stone).
