Dominion has been out for a while now and I am yet to find a good guide for Malzahar, So I figure I might as well make one and then update it as people add their comments. I should probably preface this guide by saying it is for people who like to play AGGRESSIVE. Dominion is all about 1v1 or 1v2 matches and with Malzahar I am approaching this build with just that in mind. Lots of AP and spell pen, and a DFG to top it off. Too bad we cant use it while casting Nether grasp anymore!

Another thing to remember when playing Dominion in general, itemization is much faster than in a regular LoL game. For example: You can usually get a deathcap after a few minutes if you take bottom lane and farm minions. For this reason I get my AP up first then work on survivability.

Final note: MP5 items are much less useful in Dominion given the quick turnaround i.e. death and port back to base. Also, items requiring time or use to upgrade are much less useful given short fights. For this reason I avoid Archangel staff and Rod of ages

I know a lot of people use ghost in dominion, but i think ignite and exhaust are so much better for Malz, here is why:

1- They can both be cast during your ultimate, making it OP if you spec into exhaust and have the decreased magic res.

2- If they do happen to survive your ult, you will have ignite and Malfeic visions on them, once again they are dead.

3- Exhaust is just as good an escape tool as ghost

So really you only miss out on the ability to get to turrets faster, but if the other team is all dead, you will cap them anyways.
