Haven't tried this yet, but maybe replace 1 Archangel's with a mpen item. Although I don't really see many ppl stacking mres...

I need more practice with malz :S I bought him as soon as I could because I liked how he looked, I was good lower ELO then I got bad higher. Trying to format my own build for him, your's is good because of the early CC block and high CD reduction.

20% CDR now, if I was gonna get an item for CD I'd get deathfire, almost same AP and CD with a kickass active.

Solid build! Tried it and it's really good. +1
But I've been thinking recently about morello's evil tome... You think it's good for Malz? 15% CDR + AP is quite powerful imo, just lacks survivability bonuses. But maybe instead of archangel's staff? Just a thought, have to try it myself.
Oh, and another thing... I noticed you didn't add information about null zone in 3. ? :)
