i really like the concept but...woudlnt this exact build simply work better on a champion more suited towards it, like olaf for instance. (the old olaf i suppose,he just got nerfed into the ground)

Yes and No... Olaf doesnt have the attack speed unless hes low in life, doesn't have any sort of alpha strike for engaging or catching people, and no way of healing himself other than lifesteal. With Tank Yi, you are able to aggro everyone, then press meditate and not die. The fact is, Yi is normally the first target in a fight, Olaf isnt. Olaf is the targeted last due to his passive. On the otherhand, Olaf benefits by the health and is able to dish some crazy damage because of it. Overall though, I think Tank Yi has more utlity.

great build.
i started trying out master yi yesterday with builds that focused more on damage and i found myself dying all the time for being too squishy....
now with this build i mostly dont die, my damage is still pretty high and i just own my opponents...

Thanks Graffiti36. Glad you liked it! It takes a bit of getting used to but its worth it!

Figured it was another spam build, but it seemed logical. Tried it, I rather like it.

Its not bad. More thought out thatn most tank Yi builds. I like the direction, but if you could upload some screen shots of your success. This is one of those builds that needs to have some visual proof.

My only issue is the cost of this. Its very expensive, but if you can get rolling it will pay off. I like this though.

I sure will get some screen shots! I will play a couple of games tonight and post them up.
