Other offensive items to consider - If you get a full build you may replace your WOTA with a Gunblade or if you are dominating your lane skip the WOTA but still get revolver, also later upgrading it to a Gunblade.


Other Defensive Items to consider - (Replace with Warmogs and if you get focussed a lot choose a second defensive item before or after Deathcap replacing your Lich Bane.

Heavy AD Team=Sunfire Cape or Thornmail
If the enemy AD carry gets extremely fed Thornmail will be better otherwise Sunfire works nicely with Morde.

Heavy AP Team=Abyssal Scepter
Health regen runes and spell vamp should replace the health regen loss from Warmogs, Abyssal works better than FON with this build for getting your shield up and the extra damage/auror.

Heavy CC Team=Merc Treads
Morde is most vulnerable when CCd because he cannot maintain his shield, if the enemy team has heavy CC then Merc Treads is a must.
