This build seems to work well for me when I choose to play as an Ap Mordekaiser. It allows you to stay alive and deal quite a bit of damage during any fights.

Well, I have not learned that much about the runes and what are best for most people. I did do the best to my current knowledge at choosing the runes. Currently I am not buying runes yet.

Early game Morde can deal some great damage with not too high of a cooldown. So I went more defensive here and decided the longer you lane more than your enemies the faster you can use children of the grave and take the Tower in your lane. :)

Alrighty if you made it this far I must be doing a good job for my first build published here. The first item, boots, is for speed that way you can dodge those nasty skill shots and stuns. The potions are for your survival and laning. Then my favorite and core item of this build is the hextech revolver. This will give you health when you use any of your abilities. I love it. Then you upgrade to ionian boots of lucidity for the amazing cooldown reduction. And then the Will of the Ancients. This is cheap, helps your team, and gives you more survivability and power. Next is also a must for Morde. The Giants belt for Rylai's Crystal Sceptar must go first before you finish this. This will give you a slow that can effect a whole team and give needed health and AP.

For the next item I put Rabadon's death cap. This is great for getting Ap earlier but if your not doing the best you believe you could go ahead and get The hourglass first. THis will still give ap and will help you live longer. Then get the deathcap because it is an AP MUST. This gives insane AP. For the last item, besides potions, there are many items that can work. If they are stacking magic resistance go ahead and get the void staff. If you are way to slow get the Lich bane. If they are all Ap killers, get the abyssal sceptar this will give that needed magic resistance to win those team-fights. Always try to get buff or blue potion before teamfight unless you have someone else on your team who needs it for mana situations.

Ignite is a great spell for the kills you are soo close to getting and is great is combination with Mordekaiser's ultimate.

Ghost is good for getting to places and for escaping quickly in case of emergency.
