This is my Mordekaiser build. :P

I put different kinds of runes because Hp/per5 MAY help you early game but I don't think they will because they start to get noticeable around level 8-9 but you should have your revolver by then. But I recommend you should get Armor seals, 18+ Ap at level 18 isn't really that good. Or you can get health per level too.

You can go 21/0/9 if you want picking all of the Mpen and Ap beneficial masteries but 9/21/0 gives him the early game strength he needs to last till late game where he really shines.

Don't get Wota early game. The CC from gunblade will help you snag a lot more kills and since you auto attack while your skills are on CD you'll get some lifesteal, but the lifesteal doesn't matter much. instead of getting lich bane early at the risk of blowing up you could get rylais instead as your second item. then after rabadons get lich bane then Wota. And ask someone on your team if THEY could get wota. you'll have 60% total spell vamp if they do.

Since W is weak until late game max it last, you can choose to put points in E whenever possible but if you power up your E and Q then you'll have a lot more damage.

If you are going mid get flash. If you're going SOLO top get ghost. And if they say you have to get bot. Queue dodge :/. Morde needs a solo lane for lots of farm, it's not worth sharing CS and getting behind in gold. Ignite is obligatory.

Pros:
Excellent farmer.
Heavy damage dealer.
"Tanky" with more damage you dish out.
Unstoppable late game if he gets 3-5 kills early.

Cons:
Very prone to ganks as he needs to push in order to keep his shield generated.
Squishy
NO CC
No escape move.

What you want to do is obviously keep throwing out E and Q as much as possible and W on your tank to make him/her more tanky because of the resist it gives. Ult the Ranged AD carry preferably, ranged and make sure they die. Tell your team who you're ulting so they can help you target them. Of course you can use your gunblade to catch up to enemy champs on the run.

You should be able to spam E early game because you're pendant will regen the health you used by time it comes off of CD. You should be able to spam and not lose too much health. I don't prefer you spam though. And if you start with an Tome then DO NOT spam E, you'll kill yourself and be forced to B even more.

I've told you everything you need to know to play morde pretty much. Get out there on the fields of justice and bring great suffering and torment to your opponents.
