A friend of mine uses multiple arhcangel staffs with swain for constant lvl6 mode xD

I've decided to listen to you and use the 2nd Archangel, it now gives you a little below 550 AP and a little below 5500 Mana

more info on how you lane with him please, i'd get another archangel instead of deathfire, stacks so nice ^^

he has fairly high health and good armor/magic resistance, but I'm working on a full Caster build now

**** boots! But seriously, not even Sorc or Merc treads? Not really tanky at all and very late RoA. The only thing that makes this "Tanky" is that Guardian Angel.
