i go with flash and heal with olaf
because in first game the heal is real handy and it can make a difference between life and death. the flash is a bit standard because it can help you get out of ****ty situations.

I use this build myself and it always works out good.
mostly if i go solo top with this build it will get you a nice experience on top lane.

You can do multiple things on your skill sequence.
If you go solo top you want to have your undertow maxed first. then your reckless swing then your vicious strikes.
but if you are jungling you need to max your reckless swing first then vicous strikes and after that your undertow.

On this champion, you want to have high armor and alot armor pen. and attack speed.
so the following runes you want to get are:
- Greater Mark of Desolation (1.66 armor penetration)
- Greater Seal of Resillence (1.41 armor)
- Greater Glyph of Alacrity (0.64 attack speed)

Ok, lets start with the items.

In the begin you want to have HP so you go off with a Ruby crystal first. then buy shoes and later on a frozen mallet. if things go bad, just do this build. if things go good, get a zeal after your giants belt in the frozen mallet recipe.
buy a scepter after a frozen mallet for extra lifesteal. after that, a phantom dancer for good mobility, chasing, attack speed, crit etc.
after that, get a infinity edge so you crit high. then a blood thister will get you more lifesteal.
In the end you can choose between a Atmas Impaler or a Thornmail. It depends on the game.
If there are alot 'auto attack' champions like 'tryndamere' or 'vayne' you will need to get a thornmail. If not, get a Atmas Impaler.

Pros:
Good At Jungling.
High Damage Output.
Good At Ganking.
Vicious strikes has attack scaled to your health and high life steal.

Cons:
Underthrow requires aiming.
Reckless swing can kill you if you're really low on hp.

start off at the golems (1) then to 2, 3 Etc. *8 is optional.*

I used all the masteries that will get you a nice damage output and durability. (yes the 3% life steal does help).
