Best combination of rune because ability per level will add to the amount of AP you have and scales well with morde. Magic pen. reds are a must for all ap carries.

Starting-
Core--BEST item for morde early game and gives you lane dominance-Magic Pen is key to raping kids with all your abilities.
Another Core Item:-Provides nice AP, but the main reason is that it destroys champions combined with your Q

Since you got the dorans shield first you can abuse against against any champion especially ad carry, because it provides health regen., health and armor. Abuse as much as possible with e, because you'll just regen it back, and once you get the revolver you'll never have to recall again until you want to buy because of the spell vamp whoch is also broken.

You should now have sorc boots and your gunblade and raping your solo lane because your gunblade slows and does damage so you should have no problem hunting anyone down and killing them.

You should have the highest CS because you have been focused solely on farming and helping out with teamfights.
