Summoner Spells

Summoner spells

Ghost is generally good summoner spell for dominion since speed is essential. It can be used to escape from battle, chase enemies down or get to a point faster to cap/defend it.

Exhaust is also a good summoner spell for dominion. It can turn a 1v1s in your favour by reducing their damage output and preventing them from escaping. It is also useful in team fights to reduce an enemy's damage and slow them so that your team can quickly kill them.

Other possible summoner spells

This is a useful summoner spell to have as it allows you to protect a point that's under attack by minions or if you are attacked on a point you can use it to boost the turret's attack speed to help kill the enemy champion.

This can be helpful when pushing minion waves at enemy points.

Although it can be useful in escaping from enemies I personally don't find it to be as good as ghost on dominion. There aren't many places where you can use this to teleport over terrain to escape like there are on summoner's rift although it can come in handy, it depends on your preference.

Introduction

Poppy is arguably one of the best champions for dominion. They have everything you look for in a good dominion champ. They are capable of dishing out insane burst damage through their Heroic Charge > Devastating Blow, they are extremely mobile because of Paragan of Dermacia, they are an exceptional turret diver and they have alot of survivability due to their passive and ultimate.

Build

This build focuses on CDR so that you can use your Q and E combo as often as possible and on AD/AS so that you can do a decent amount of damage whilst you aren't using your abilities. In all it allows you to be an unstoppable killing machine capable of carrying your team to victory.

I start off by buying

for the movement speed allowing me to get to the top point as fast as possible and for the attack speed which will increase my damage output. I then buy a

to increase my mana pool which later be built into a sheen. I also buy a health potion to heal any health lost after the initial fight or when it is needed, on top of the health packs that I collect across the map.
