I'm not liking this build because it doesn't optimize your DB and you are pretty much relying on auto attack. Poppy is sick if you build her with sheen asap. If you get a couple kills early game because of sheen it's gg. CDR doesn't hurt either to keep those DBs coming. Also, I don't go boots first with any of my builds because sometimes the game is won on early kills. Boots won't do that, especially not with Poppy.

I agree with everything you said. This build does relay a lot on auto attack, but if you think about how hard poppy hits with her auto atack and the amount of atackspeed and lifesteal this build has it becomes viable. Also I think a lot of people dont buy boots first, but since the atackspeed boots are cheap and they come in handy running people down during the first 5 lvl's I cant live with out them.
This build is very different that any other poppy build but I have great outcomes with it.
