Hey there, loved your build. I never see people rushing Ghostblade on Lucian and I dunno why, it's pretty damn strong early game and the active simply wins you most fights.
Although I have some questions.
Like KALENJI said above, aren't the CDR boots better than the attack speed?
Secondly, I tried making changes to the build order and I dunno if it's just me but I found that maybe Ghostblade into a Reaver is better than Ghostblade into a Statikk/RPC. Your damage becomes insane early/mid game and it really helps in not falling behind in case enemy team got a bit fed.

Lastly, people agree that late-game Lucian is a monster but I don't really see that. Yes his damage becomes crazy but with no defensive items, you can get easily bursted down (I'm mainly talking about Gold-Platinum games where your support doesn't protect you). And if you get a defensive item your damage falls behind. So I dunno, what do you think?

How about taking meditation instead of merciless? Taking merciless will only deal like 10 extra damage per 200 damage dealt, and it's limited to enemies with less than 40% health, which doesn't seem like a lot, but taking meditation may help lucian to cast 2 or maybe 3 more abilites or maybe turn a fight/trade around with that during early games.

I'm a Gold V player, and I'm not an adc main, but I'm trying to learn Lucian, he is very fun now that it's easier to hit 40% CDR.

I normally build this (by this order): Essence Reaver, CDR boots, Rapid Fire Cannon, Infinity Edge, The Bloodthirster and then end up with one of the new "Last Whisper" or with a defensive item (can be Mercurial Scimitar).

Well, I have 2 questions. First one: Why do you pick attack speed boots over CDR boots? In my opinion, the attack speed Lucian gets from Rapid Fire Cannon is enough, and by taking CDR boots you no longer need to take Yomuus Ghostblade.

Second question: Would the +5% CDR mastery be any good with Lucian?

1. Both choices are good, but if you follow my build you go for Ghostblade first
2. Replace it with IE
3. Go for Cunning

Lucian is a low range ADC, when you buy Rapidfire Cannon you can proc your AA along with your passive on a distance, helps a lot in teamfights, simply this build works only with Rapidfire Cannon

Hello, im vietnamese and i have a bad english. Hope you understand :) I've read your build and i really like it. This's the first time i play lucian so I have some question
1st: I wonder that buy Essence reaver first or Yonmuu first.
2nd: When i fight with tanky what's the item i should replace for lord dominik? IE or bloodthirster or another?
3rd: I'm using new account and it's just 18 so what's masteries i should build first(ferocity or cunnin)?

Can you tell me why you buy rapid fire cannon? I pref statikks but you buy rapid fire cannon why?

Is that the actual Item Order? I wanted to ask what you think about building Essence Reaver first, then Rapid Fire Cannon and then Youmus?

Your guide isn't very detailed :/ You don't have move suggestions, strategies, what to build first, or anything like that.
