AFTER BUYING THE ROD OF AGES. UPDRADE YOUR HEX CORE TO ONE OF THE 3. I USUALLY TAKE THE YELLOW ONE. Here is my version of how to play Viktor, hope this helps you people out there :). Viktor is mainly a mid-late game champion. although having a good harrass at the start he doesn't do much damage at all.

The runes i take are purely for damage. The mana regen are because early game, your mana drains fairly fast, and these runes help so that you can keep spanning your Q and E at the start.

The masteries are to give mainly a boost to your damage output. A 21-0-9 standard tree.

The items I build prove to be very good. The mana crystal at the start helps maintain a higher pool and lets you span spells more in the long term. The rod of ages gives great durability and also some AP. The rest of the items are mainly fro damage output. apart from the rylai's crystal scepter, this is mainly for durability, giving you lots more health.

The summoner spells flash and ignite (used in many cases). I use these so i can pick up kills with ignite, as i tend to always never do ENOUGH damage, and they escape with next to nothing health. as of this i take ignite so they never escape! >:D. The flash i purely for chasing, or escaping, over walls ect.

Overall this champion is good, But where he shines is mid and late game play. Hope this build helped people who have just baught this new champion, thought ide make a build seeing a there was no other, alothough its under yorick, just follow it as if you were playing Viktor :).
