Yeah, I usually play it real safe up until I get to level 6 and when I get my scepter for that precise reason.

I will test this, looks solid. I'd suggest grabbing a bulk item early because when Akali is caught out in the open she gets destroyed. Needs a longer description aswell but that's just personal preference.

Grr I forgot again. If you're stupid enough not to figure this out on your own, when you start the Gunblade you ditch the sword for the pickaxe and continue on your way. lol. It's nice taking out over half of a turrets health with one LB effected strike with this build.

Also, if you are just going to give it a toss away because I don't use Rageblade. Don't bother leaving a comment, I've had no problem taking any enemy Akali down that was using Rageblade with this build. Plus personally I see it as a waste of a slot that could be filled with something better.
