Hello and Welcome to my Riven Guide!

This is my first guide ever to be submitted to mobafire, however I do not want me to cut me any slack when it comes to this guide. Please feel free to give me constructive criticism and help me write better guides in the future.

The reason I choose the runes I did is because I always feel when I play Riven that he lacks the ability to penetrate the tanks defense. So that is why I choose Armor Pen. Marks and Magic Resist. Glyphs.
I also decided to go with attack speed seals since I feel that Riven needs to attack fast after she have used one of her abilities.
The HP Quints. is a must for me when playing Riven, it has helped me through a lot of fights, I often get out of fights with below 100hp left.

When you play Riven you mainly need damage and that is why I went with 21/0/9 in my masteries.
Deadliness do not grant a whole lot of critical strike, but it's enough to make a difference in my opinion.

Cripple is a must when you are using exhaust in my opinion and it's the only reason why I went with it, you can just see on the enemy players how mad they get when they realize that the exhaust is going to last 0.5 seconds longer.

Abilitiy cooldown is everything for Riven since she does not have rage, mana or even energy. She is like katarina, she only has cooldowns. This is why I felt that I needed the Sorcery mastery.

I spent 3 out of 4 points in Alacrity since I did not think that it was essential for me to win, but it's not a bad mastery either.

Archaic Knowledge and Sunder makes the tanks cry, it helps a lot against them.

Offensive Mastery helps out in the early laning phase with giving you the killing blows on minions. If you feel that you are not a good early ganker then this is a safe bet for getting fed anyway.

Lethalty and Havoc ensures that my enemies will suffer a whole lot when I hit them with my sword!
