About the Gold runes, you're probably right; you are a much higher ELO then me. I will fix everything else you suggested, and will add a chapter to give credit to you!

Have a few problems with your guide, but besides that I think it's pretty good. First off for your runes, I highly recommend against taking gold runes. If they work for you that's great, but most of the time they're really bad. I'd switch them out for health or armor. Personally for the laning phase I like taking AD reds just for the extra poke. Do whatever you want though, but personally I run health yellows, armor quints, ad reds, and mr blues. As for build guide, the upgraded sightstone items like eye of equinox aren't all that bad. Sometimes you don't need the extra shield, or you build a righteous glory and don't need talisman. Both of those items are viable and I recommendting those as a situational buy. NEVER TAKE SUNFIRE CAPE. Thresh almost always wants mobi boots, and unless you are running lucidity boots I would highly suggest against that item. Even with cdr boots its just not that good of an item for him, seeing as how you want to be peeling after your main initiation. Last thing is matchups, put a note into them that for leo alistar naut, you can basically negate their early engage by just flaying them out of their gap closer. Also ignite is a great summoner spell on Thresh and I usually take it over exhaust unless they have multiple assassins. Just some ideas. If this is a lower elo guide then it works fine, but just some tips I used to get into master as a thresh main. Besides that good guide. :)
