Karthus jungle is really simple to play while also being one of the strongest junglers in the game right now

How to play karthus jungle

You start on bot side of the map to get the best leash possible and start full clearing from there

Note: Blue side karthus is stronger than red side karthus because of blue buff start with a bot lane leashing you therefor you get a stronger leash which means you get to clear the buff faster and with more hp.

You wannna ask for your team to ward your red buff at 1.35 since you can´t ward the red buff yourself when you are starting on blue buff

Getting a team mate to ward your red buff at 1.35 will make sure that if the enemy invades you, you will see them do red buff by the time you have full cleared and get to your red buff

Your full clear will look like this:
1. Blue
2. Gromp
3. Wolves
4. Raptors
5. Red
6. Krugs
7. Scuttle

Then reset and full clear again

Once you have full cleared you wanna back for part jungle item and go for another full clear, once you have full cleared about 3 times you should have enough gold to buy full jungle item and you should be lvl 6.

Now you wanna look for opportunities to where you can ulti and get free kills

Remember when looking for free kills with ulti make sure that your jungle item runic echoes has 100 stacks on it since it does a nice bit of extra damage to make sure you can actually kill the target you are going for with ulti.

Note: you can gank as karthus if people are low hp for a dark harvest stack , or if your teammates has cc in their lane so you can hit your q for a free kill before lvl 6

The reason why you wanna pick karthus jungle right now is because he is super simple to play, the only mechanic karthus really has in his kit is hitting your q´s

Karthus jungle is the fastest clearing jungler in the game which means you will always be some lvls up on your opponent, while also having kill pressure on all lanes with your ulti from lvl 6.

On top of that Karthus scales insanely well into late game and does a ton of AOE damage with Q E and ulti in his passive in team fights

You wanna pick Karthus when you need an AP Jungler or if you need something that scales well into late game.

You can also pick Karthus into matchups where you don´t get invaded where you can safely farm and scale really fast and out level your opponent simply by farming your jungle camps.

Note: Early game junglers and assassins who invade can be tough to deal with but just ward your jungle entrances against those champions

Karthus just needs to survive on his first full clear and then you are pretty much good to go against most invading champions as long as you use your w and q properly

Who am I you might ask yourself

I am KamiKZ better known as KamiKhaZix and I have recently started to main and abuse Karthus jungle for some free LP

I have peaked 350 LP grand master on EUW and challenger on EUNE and I have a lot of succes with Karthus jungle recently having a 74% winrate in grandmaster with him

Pros:

Fastest clear in the game
High damage
Global impact
Best scaling jungler
Carry jungler
Always relevant even if behind
Good late game

Cons:
Weak early
Weak vs burst damage
Many counter items late game

Once you have your jungle item runic echos you wanna make sure that it is at 100 stacks before you press ulti since it will proc runic echos bonus damage on your ulti and the runic echoes proc can be the difference between you getting a kill and the enemy living on 1 hp after your ulti.

Another tip is that you need to kite the jungle camps early with karthus jungle by using auto attacks, q and right clicking, once you get through the first few full clears you can now start kiting only using q and right clicking

An additional tip for karthus is the fact that his W slows and reduces magic resist so make sure you hit your w whenever you are in range for it and to start of your combo with your w as well

Last tip is for your q´s you wanna try and predict peoples movement whenever they aren´t cc´ed but when they are cc´ed just q right on top of them
