Unlock Sentinels
As you progress through storyline, you will unlock sentinels that give you more objectives.

Get XP
Just do the objectives. It doesn't matter what champ you use, do the objectives and xp it up like crazy people.
Don't be like me and buy a new champ (Senna) that you wind up loving (she's really fun) and decide to replace your favorite champ with the one you just got (maybe exagerrating here).
