This is my basic guide to Katarina. She is very useful in any situation. I know a lot of people may not like this build and to you I say bring it on! There are some variations that I do to this build based on who I am playing.

I like the scaling ap runes for the benefits of late game vs. early game... lets be honest Kat is op early game as it is.

Ok here is one of my variations that I was talking about. I don't know how many times in a pre game lobby people laughed at me for selecting Kat and they picked Morde or Malz for mid already. Easy way to counter either of these champs is to quick rush a Quick Silver Sash.
