Rough initial build of Shyvana. It's fairly typical for a solo top character. Any and all suggestions are welcome.

Pro's

She is freaking fast
Quality AOE in team battles
Pushes lanes hard with her W
Fairs well against multiple opponents
Great escapability using Ulti

Con's

No CC
Can be kited easily
Opponents know when Ulti is coming
Ulti is slow

I run 9/0/21 for pursuit capabilities. The speed boost for Ghost and CD reduc are helpful. Shyvana has enough burst to really use any combination of masteries, they will all produce a different monster. This particular monster as previously stated, is for dueling and pursuit.

Attack speed marks for recharging the ulti quickly. Fortitude seals for early game prowess. Warding glyphs because well I had them. Desolation Quints because pen is an early game killer.

Ghost for pursuit. Make sure you blaze a trail for your opponents. Flash because its flash. Exhaust is also an option here as well as Ignite in particular cases.

Doran's Shield first for sustainability. Basic boots second for evasion/pursuit. Dat Brutalizer for dat pen and dat CD reduc. Finish the boots for tenacity and further pursuit, Ninja Tabi's for AD heavy opponents. Dat Sheen for dat buff followed by Phage for dat slow & additional health, finish the Trinity. After Trinity is up Shyvana becomes far more useful and puts out nicely. Run Warmogs next so you can get those stacks going, couple it with the Atma's and get **** done. Finish the Yomuu's to pound some ***. Lastly you can build Frozen Mallet for additional slow and health or a Sunfire cape to get some more AOE in.

Many builds I've seen so far are pure AD. Shyvana isn't an AD carry, she is built slanting in that direction but needs to utilize Trinity for its many bonuses and slow potential. This build makes Shyvana far more tanky and in my opinion, caters to her quality points in a far better fashion. These points are her duelist capabilities, pursuit, and sustainability. Build isn't the best but is a hell of a lot better than most of the AD carry **** on here.
