I haven't experimented with a meki myself, but it might help. Either that or use the runes on it. Personally though, after you can get the blue buff mana regen isn't a big issue. It is nice though in that early game but it does delay the core items a tad, so it could be more for if you get the first blood go ahead and grab one, otherwise don't worry about it.

I'm not going to say I know alot about sion, cause I don't, but looking at the build I think it might be more beneficial if you got the mp5 a little earlier, maybe build the fiendish codex before the second blasting want or just pick up a meki pendant earlier
