Introduction
Taking Boomerang Blade first gives you a lot of damage output, giving your team a huge level 1 advantage, so if you have the opportunity to engage, do it. Getting ricochet second can help you farm, but the bounce target isn't exact, so I prefer to get the Spell Shield, especially when you're laning against a caster. By maxing Boomerang Blade, you give yourself some harass, and a way to initiate on a target in lane. Timing the spell shield is vital to Sivir's laning phase, because as you have no early game mana regen, this is the only way for her sustain her abilities.
I would like to keep this guide short, so this is the final section. Late game Sivir is very strong, but only if farmed well. Her ability to pop her ult and take out an enemy tower makes her a great split pusher, and ricochet can change the tide of a team fight. The most important thing to remember about Sivir is her dodge chance. ALWAYS KEEP MOVING. Whether you're targeting a tower, or in the dead center of a team fight. By taking a point in the Nimbleness mastery, if your dodge chance proc's (which it usually will seeing as you will have around 35% dodge chance while moving) you gain 10% movement speed, which you can either use for chasing down an enemy, or getting the hell out of there.
