Hello I'm Roland and this is my solo top skarner build since the rework now the way i play skarner is focused on his Q and sustaining through a lot of damage to do damage and sometimes i use this as main tank when my team makes inappropriate champ choices.

Now for runes i take greater mark of strength because when you get sheen it procs for more damage earlier.and the rest simply because you need that tankyness in order to survive the huge damage output solo tops and the regen solo tops.

The one thing you need early as possible is your philo stone it is the reason your going to be able to stay and do damage it fixes your mana problems and after a few seconds lets you have enough mana to fight off aggressive lane opponents. for me i usually save up enough to buy my berserker greaves and my sheen next buy but if you had to pick and choose always take your 2 speed first it keeps you from getting ganked.

I haven't had alot of study here i'm still experimenting with surge but if you dont want that simply take teleport that way you can leave to gank and get back to protect your turret.
