Pros - Very strong early game.
Normally wins lane all the time.
Can carry a 5 team.
During teamfights Wukong can assassinate the AD carry thus winning the teamfight.

Cons - He can get crowd controled out of the fight.
That's about it.

During early game this is the most crucial part of the game for Wukong. What i like to do is upgrade Nimbus strike first. Then in lane i normally kill a couple minions quickly, so i hit level 2 before my enemy. Then once i hit level 2 i start being very aggressive. I charge up to them with Nimbus strike an then i auto attack then finish it with a Crushing blow. In most cases that will take them to about 60% health. Then you can do the same combo again but with ignite and a couple more auto attacks for first blood. If they come at you and it's a 1v1 and you both are level 2, what you want to do is auto attack then use Crushing blow and Nimbus strike. If they won't let up, just kill them with ignite and some auto attacks because Nimbus strike will give you some bonus Attack speed. That's all for this build i hope this helps - Tim3boom

I like to use these runes because the more armor pen wukong has of course the more damage. Also you can never be tanky enough with any champion. So these are just standard wukong runes.

For Wukong i choose 21/9/0 masteries because i like to do trade damage in lane. That's how i win most of my games as Wukong. Some people like to build Wriggles Lantern on wukong, however i feel like it doesn't allow me to do damage. That is why i choose the 1.5% damage masteries over the 3% lifesteal masteries. In my opinion the lifesteal doesn't help you as much as it could with other champions. The other masteries are pretty standard.
