Do I need to show some credentials here before I continue?

Mordekaiser is a very fun, competitive, and relatively easy champion to play. I personally think he is the glue to any team whether in ranked or normal game modes. This build has outlined the starting items that are essential. The reason I rush the hextech gunblade is that after having farmed 765 gold in lane (level 4-5 or around 5:00 mark), I will be able to use my abilities while replenishing all or more of my health than what is spent casting. This enables me to lane and tank (with my W active I do AOE Damage and heal off of it for tanking). I constantly Spam my E, because every time it hits a minion it increases the maximum health of the shield, aka Morde's Bread and Butter. Remember you have Flash to jump in and ulti the DPS. You want to be in the middle of the fight if there are enemy minons present, so you W will heal you.
