If your team goes well and you don't die very often you can buy Mejai's and screw the Abyssal, but when you have alot of deads you'd better buy Lich and at the end you can also buy Abyssal for more damage.
Note, Masteries
When you want to do more damage take 21 in Offense and 9 in Utility. When you want to support more than you want to deal damage put 21 points in Utility and 9 in Offense. This can be very usefull because of the extra EXP, movement speed and CD Reduction.
