Sona is an support caster,Her support is extremely potent in all lanes in teamfights.
Her damage,heals,disables,auras make her one of best support champions.

Can die in teamfights quickly if you position yourself incorectly

Allways use your skill 3 times in base so you get powerchord and aura active.
Position yourself out of danger in teamfights after using your Cresendo.
Try to keep all auras active.

I go standard 9 0 21 caster support masteries.

My usual build is-Probably best ap caster starting item.-Will give you enough Tenacy and Magic resist to survive most of enemies.is great for cooldown reduction while alsoare viable aswell,if you wanna play more agresive.Mana regenaration aura-Health-Cooldown redcution.(Needed)andto increase all of your teamates AD/AP.Combinizes well with Hymn of Valor-Power Chord+Lich Bane=Silly damage.


Optional:VS High ad/dps teamif you wanna play agresive one more offensive cast works great.for early defensive play.
Your heal gonna re*****h more health on ya.Combinized with Cresendos AoE you can disable all team criticly.Works well with slow teamates like Ashe or teamates that still dont have boots or have only boots of speed.

Will keep me out of danger


Whileallows me to scout brushes,scout for junglers,Make enemies ganks fail.

0.95 magic.penetration-To increase my damage output on tanky enemies.
+0.41mana regen/5sec Wont get OOM easily:)

Power Chord
After casting 3 spells, Sona's next attack deals bonus magic damage. Additionally, Sona's Auras persist for 3 seconds after deactivating and set off a 2 second global cooldown.

Hymn of Valor
]Hymn of Valor Sona plays the Hymn of Valor, granting nearby allied champions 6 / 8 / 10 / 12 / 14 bonus Damage and Ability Power. Additionally, casting this ability sends out bolts of sound, dealing 50 / 100 / 150 / 200 / 250 (+70% of ability power) magic damage to the nearest two enemy champions or monsters. If this spell was last cast when Sona's Power Chord is ready, her next attack will do double the damage of her Power Chord.
Aria of Preseverence
Sona plays the Aria of Perseverance, granting nearby allied champions 8 / 11 / 14 / 17 / 20 bonus Armor and Magic Resist. Additionally, casting this ability sends out healing melodies, healing Sona and a nearby wounded ally for 35 / 70 / 105 / 140 / 175 (+35% of ability power).

If this spell was last cast when Sona's Power Chord is ready, her next attack will de-buff the target to deal 20% less damage for 3 seconds.
Song of Celerity
Sona plays the Song of Celerity, granting nearby allied champions 8 / 11 / 14 / 17 / 20 bonus Movement Speed. Additionally, casting this ability energizes nearby allies 6 / 8 / 10 / 12 / 14% additional movement speed for 1.5 seconds.

If this spell was last cast when Sona's Power Chord is ready, her next attack will slow the target by 25% for 2 seconds.
Sona plays her ultimate chord, forcing enemy champions to dance (stun) and take 150 / 250 / 350 (+80% of ability power) magic damage over 1.5 seconds.[/img]

I maxright away,
I maxn1 point by 1 when point in Aria of presevernce is unavailible while i take mywhenever i can.

Try to use PowerChord+Hymn of valor to farm cannon minions for max gold gain.
Adonitially ci think you should use your Hymn of valor while attacking minions becouse you have alot of AD that way.

Around in 5th minute your enemies gonna mostly gank after grabbing some items in lane from farming.Buy 2 wards.One that can detect stealthed enemies at baron/dragon where your lane is.
If its top-Baron.If its bot-Dragon.
Refresh that warding every 3rd min till you really push into their base.
Then ward Red and Blue buff as they are mostly visited then
