First buy the eleia's miracle.Why you ask ? Because Sona will need Regeneration to stay in lane and won't waste time to RECALL!
Then buy Ionian Boots. The effect of this boots makes your skill cooldown more decrease.
Then Rod of Ages. Every minute SONA's health will increase and be difficult to kill.

Then Shurelia's Reverie. This can Make Sona More difficult to kill because when you activate this item you're movement speed will increase and with the help of the Rod of Ages you can escape!
Then Warmog's Armor. As you can see i am giving you the items that can make Sona have more health, because when i did this build, i becamed Harder to kill and i can now go infront of clashes without damage, because other champions will waste time damaging you're high health. Result Success in Clash
Then last is the Rabbadon's Deathcap. Now Because of this Item Sona can provide more Heal points and damage points. I recommend of changing Eleia's Miracle to Archangel's staff so the mana that earn will become magic points and with the rabbadon you can have more magic points.

Flash. This will be useful in Early enemy ganks, Sona will be very easy to kill, because she doesn't have an escape ability, so if i were you, you should pick Flash.

She played as though plucking heartstrings, effortlessly manipulating the emotions of her listeners - all without a single written note. In secret, she discovered a potent and deadly use for her etwahl, using its vibrations to slice objects from a distance. She honed this discipline in private, mastering her gift. When she felt prepared, she went to the only place which could offer her a fitting recital: the League of Legends.
