+1 for a relatively cheap and definitely different guide on Sona, also I think this guide should be quite good for ranked games like you have proved by your pics of your games.

I really like this build for Sona, but I would probably wait with Elaia's until after boots. If not the gold per 10 isn't even paying off.
But all in all a nice guide. Having many kills isn't necessarily a problem, in some situations you aren't able to leave kills for a carry.

I don't think you should be farming that many cs in Ranked Games - generally supports aren't allowed to farm at all. (At least not in Europe, and that sucks hard, getting few cs haven't ruined any of my carries games.)
Second thing: you mention at the beginning of the guide that you're not supposed to get kills but you've gained quite a few which isnt necessarily a bad thing, since you won anyway.
I don't think that Chalice is the best item to get early, maybe Philosopher's Stone before it or most likely I prefer Archangel for more mana all together and ofc AP which Sona needs. Otherwise your item choices seem kinda nice: Sona has auras, she doesnt need aura items that much and they're way overrated anyway.

Your skill sequence sucks though. If you play support, why take heal lvl 2 at lvl8? Heal at lvl1 is just pathetic and since your main focus is to support you should lvl up heal at least to lvl2 or 3 before maxing out Hymn of Valor. Why play support Sona if you don't heal?
